Based on the physical principle of communicating vessels, the oil consumption meter OCM4 is able to perform on-line oil consumption measurements. It can be applied to analyze oil level changes during the run-in process of engines as well as consumption analyses with respect to various other areas of operation and parameters, e.g. engine speed and load or oil quality.
All measured data is displayed on-line on the evaluation unit. Saved data, such as calibration curves of oil pans, oil consumption data and measurement values of test runs, can also be displayed, processed and printed at any time; even while collecting new data.
