Hybrid & battery

We can operate motors alone or in combination with other components (electric motors and combustion engines) on our engine test benches. Integrating the electric motor as a starter/generator or in combination with a combustion engine in a plug-in hybrid requires an adapted supply of electrical energy. We offer systems for battery simulation up to a range of 300 kW / 900 V.

Communication with the different ECUs is networked via CAN signals using our in-house automation system.

The test bench makes it possible to track recorded load profiles (transmission output rotational speed, torque) or driving profiles (road course, vehicle speed).
