Test benches and testing

Engines

Combustion engines, electric motors, and hydraulic and pneumatic converters are used to drive vehicles and machines. Developing these drive units often takes a large amount of engineering and testing work. We support our customers in this development work. We focus on the aspects of wear, tribology, and exhaust emissions in combustion motors. Motors with an output range between 2 and 4,000 kW can be tested on our engine test benches.

Spectrum of motors

Our customers include manufacturers of motors for handheld devices, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles, as well as developers of race cars, engines for large mining machinery, ships’ engines or power generators. The work we perform on every size of motor ranges from simple endurance testing to highly complex development tasks.

We don’t stop at simply producing measured values. We also support you in evaluating measurement data, and work with you to develop solutions. A wide variety of analytic tools and laboratories are at our disposal. Upon request, we can also help with damage analysis or advise you in the production process for many different kinds of engine components.
